Bangalore, 28 August 2009

Dear friends,

It has been two weeks since we arrived to India. Our first stop was Chennai - a city with over 7 million inhabitants.

Spiders, lizzards and harmless bugs

The first thing you notice is usually the smell. Where we live we have relatively good conditions with just a few spiders and bugs every here and there. A lizzard guards the entrance to our room. It was a bit more difficult for the girls, but they’re fine now. Read the rest of this entry »

mmurve29 July2009, 20:00, RVE Cluj broadcast a radio show featuring Gavi Moldovan the president of MMU Romania, joined by Ionut I. (India Project Coordinator) and Cristian Salajan (MMU Assistant).

The MMU team discussed the topic of “missions” from a general perspective, laying emphasis on explaining what mission is, what types of missions there are, what are the harsh conditions missionaries have to deal with, responsibilities of financial support and other aspects of concern to the general public. Mission India - 10 days to go!

Posted by: admin In: India| Church planting

Dear friend,

Less than two weeks to go until our mission trip to India. We wish to thank all those of you who have encouraged us with your prayers and with your financial gifts.

Here on the left you can now meet each of the team members who will be going on this trip.

Funds - half way through!

Through the contribution of some of you, this mission trip is becoming reality! Please keep in mind that while you might not be able to go on the mission field yourself, you can pray and support financially their service.

So far, by the grace of God we have raised nearly 50% of the necessary buget of EUR 6000!

Can you spare a Coke?

Like any serious Christian, we know you would like to be able to donate for missions, if it just weren’t for the crisis and the increasingly low income… But how about sparing a Coke for missions? Would you prayfully consider supporting this mission trip by giving whatever God tells you to give?

Please know that any amount is important to us, even if it might not seem that important to you.

Testimony
After we all got the visas, we realized that we would need some special vaccins. At the hospital we were told it would cost around 500 RON (USD 170). Since neither me nor Dani had that amount at that moment, I stoped to pray for God’s grace. Later that day I was going to meet with somebody to present the project to him and I told God that we were depending on Him to make that amount available to us.. I suppose you can already anticipate that on that same day we received exactly 500 RON. Our God is mighty! (Ionut)

PRAYER: fastest delivery service

In world wars, every front-line soldier is supported by nine other soldiers who form the “communication line”.

If we were to transfer this into the spiritual warfare, we should be deeply moved by this truth that could revolutionize our way of thinking.

Now you can use the fastest and most cost-effective delivery service ever: PRAYER.

Specific Prayer Requests

  • Unity among team members (the team is inter-denominational)
  • Effective service through individual gifts.
  • Quick adaptation to culture, climat and living conditions in India
  • Physical  protection against ilness
  • Spiritual protection against demonic influences
  • Clear guidance in developing the project
  • Visas for the entire team
  • Financial resources for the trip
    • 1500 EUR/missionary. (flight, ground transportation, accommodation included)
    • 1000 EUR for a much needed laptop (or a laptop) to help us communicate

70 Villagers hear about Jesus

Posted by: admin In: Church planting| Romania
